Day 1

Chamonix

The mountain on the Swiss side. Take a 1.5-hour excursion in the van and explore the Valais Suisse. A region that welcomes you with spectacular landscapes, walks and regional specialties. For the best walks and to spend the night, head to the villages of Martigny, Orsières or Bourg-Saint-Pierre.

Day 2

Hospice du Grand Saint-Bernard

Perched at an altitude of 2,473 m, the 3rd highest pass in Switzerland, next to the Italian border a few hundred metres to the south, it has been the site of a hostel since the 9th century. In fact, that is where the St. Bernard dog was first bred. Many trails start in this area, including les Lacs de Fenêtre.

Day 3

Vallée d’Ollomont

Destination: Aosta Valley. Wild and for the most part sunny, the Ollomont Valley is dotted with small lakes and brooks, perfect to park your van and take it easy. Besides being renowned for skiing, the village of Ollomont is the starting point of major ascents like the Grand Combin and the Mont Vélan, as well as summer hikes. Suggestion for the day: Le Col Brison.

Day 4

LAC DE place-MOULIN (PRARAYER)

The adventure continues in the Aosta Valley. In the midst of glaciers, mountains and forests, follow the Bionaz valley and stop around the green water of Lake Place-Moulin. From the lodge follow the 4 km trail around the lake or in the direction of the Dent d’Hérens Valley with lakes, pastures and views of the pyramid mountain by the same name.

Day 5

Breuil Cervinia

An All year ski resort. Get to one of Italy’s best known ski and Alpine sports resorts with a magical view of the Matterhorn, a rocky tooth that pierces the sky and has become a symbol of Switzerland. Planned activities: skiing, paragliding, mountain biking or trekking in summer. Best hikes from Valtournenche: Lake Tsignanaz via the Cortina lakes from Valtournenche.

Day 6

val veny

Along the Mont Blanc massif, the Val Veny takes you to the heart of the wilderness, crossing Alpine lakes and offering magical views of Mont Blanc, the Miage and the Brenva glaciers. Forget the van and go skiing in Courmayeur or on a hike to Lac d’Arpy. Back home, sweet dreams!

Day 7

Chamonix

Return to Cham’ via the Mont Blanc Tunnel and its 11.6 km. Last experiences – have you tried the “Step Into the Void”? A skywalk perched at an altitude of 3,842 m and with a 1,000 m void under your feet – and the last night with a view of the Mont Blanc mountain range. Don’t forget FatMap so you don’t miss a thing.
